The Blood Covenant enables God to Act Legally on our behalf...
Faith in the blood covenant gives you an expectation of what you deserve and an awareness of
what you don’t deserve
The only time we feel guilty is when we believe on a charge laid against us
When we believe we deserve punishment, we also believe the condemnation laid against us
All blood covenants have three basic reasons for being cut:
1. Love and devotion - an expression of dedication forever
2. Protection - The strong become available to the weak
3. Equality - One will not take advantage of the other
In all three, all that one has becomes the property and possession of the other
Hebrews 12:24 (NKJV Strong's,)
24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better
things than that of Abel.
Galatians 2:20 (NKJV Strong's)
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life
which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for
me.
Hebrews 3:6 (NLT)
6 But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep
our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.
Hebrews 3:6 (NKJV Strong's)
6 but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and
the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.
Hebrews 3:7-12 (NLT)
7 That is why the Holy Spirit says,
“Today when you hear his voice,
8 don’t harden your hearts
as Israel did when they rebelled,
when they tested me in the wilderness.
9 There your ancestors tested and tried my patience,
even though they saw my miracles for forty years.
10 So I was angry with them, and I said,
‘Their hearts always turn away from me.
They refuse to do what I tell them.’
11 So in my anger I took an oath:
‘They will never enter my place of rest.’”
12 Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and
unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.
Hebrews 4:2 (NKJV Strong's)
2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did
not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.
Romans 1:16-17 (NKJV Strong's)
The Just Live by Faith
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to
salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,
“The just shall live by faith.”
WE HAVE FAITH IN THE BLOOD COVENANT BECAUSE WE KNOW...ALL THINGS WORK
TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD
Romans 8:28 (NKJV Strong's)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are
the called according to His purpose.
MOSES LIVED AND FOUGHT BY FAITH UNTIL HE BROUGHT THE PEOPLE OUT OF EGYPT - HIS
FAITH WAS UNFORTUNATELY HINDERED BY THE UNBELIEF OF THE PEOPLE HE WAS LEADING!
Hebrews 11:23-31 (NKJV Strong's)
The Faith of Moses
(Ex. 2:1–10; 12:31–51)
23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw
he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king's command.
24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, 25
choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of
sin, 26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked
to the reward.
27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who
is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed
the firstborn should touch them.
29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to
do so, were drowned.( those who attempt to cross the Red Sea without faith will be drowned like
the Egyptians)
By Faith They Overcame
30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. 31 By faith the
harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with
peace.
TYPES OF LIFELONG FAITH
1. Paternal or Parental/proxy Faith: The faith of others on your behalf
2. Willful or Identity-based Faith: A faith that comes by knowing your true identity
3. Decisive or Choosing Faith: Making a clear choice of what or who you value the most in life!
4. Fearless or bold Faith: deciding to act regardless of possible negative consequences
5. Special or unique Faith: a favour or miracle especially afforded to you at the expense of your
enemies.
6. Saving Faith: The heart to perceive a lifesaving opportunity or moment of grace not to be
missed! (Rehab in Jericho)
7. Finishing or Enduring Faith: Faith that gets you to the promise or the final victory.
Exodus 14:13-14 (NKJV Strong's)
13 And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD,
which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see
again no more forever.
14 The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."
Joshua 21:43-45 (NKJV Strong's)
The Promise Fulfilled
43 So the LORD gave to Israel all the land of which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they
took possession of it and dwelt in it.
44 The LORD gave them rest all around, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers. And
not a man of all their enemies stood against them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into
their hand.
45 Not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All
came to pass.
Revelation 5:9-10 (NKJV Strong's)
9 And they sang a new song, saying:
"You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
10 And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth."
Romans 5:17 (NKJV Strong's)
17 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive
abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus
Christ.)
Revelation 5:12 (NKJV Strong's)
12 saying with a loud voice:
"Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"
Revelation 12:9-11 (NKJV Strong's)
9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives
the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of
our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused
them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they
did not love their lives to the death.
1 Corinthians 11:24-26 (NKJV Strong's)
24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken
for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in
My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He
comes.
Galatians 3:13 (NKJV Strong's)
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is
written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"),
Galatians 2:20 (NKJV Strong's)
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life
which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for
me.
Romans 8:1-2 (NKJV Strong's)
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk
according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death
Exodus 12:5-13 (NKJV Strong's)
5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year. You may take it from the sheep or
from the goats.
6 Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of
the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight.
7 And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the
houses where they eat it.
8 Then they shall eat the flesh on that night; roasted in fire, with unleavened bread and with
bitter herbs they shall eat it.
9 Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire—its head with its legs and its
entrails.
10 You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall
burn with fire.
11 And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in
your hand. So you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord's Passover.
12 “For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the
land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am
the Lord.
13 Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I
will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of
Egypt.
Exodus 12:14 (NKJV Strong's)
14 'So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the LORD throughout
your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance.
Exodus 12:35-36 (NKJV Strong's)
35 Now the children of Israel had done according to the word of Moses, and they had asked from
the Egyptians articles of silver, articles of gold, and clothing.
36 And the LORD had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they
granted them what they requested. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.
