James 2:17-18 (NKJV Strong's)
17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your
works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
Luke 19:12-13 (NKJV Strong's)
12 Therefore He said: "A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a
kingdom and to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said
to them, 'Do business till I come.'
John 14:12-14 (NKJV Strong's)
12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and
greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My
name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My
name, I will do it.
INSIST ON SEEING THE RESULTS OF YOUR FAITH
1 Kings 18:41-46 (NKJV)
The Drought Ends
41 Then Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain." 42
So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down
on the ground, and put his face between his knees, 43 and said to his servant, "Go up now, look
toward the sea."
So he went up and looked, and said, "There is nothing." And seven times he said, "Go again."
44 Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, "There is a cloud, as small as a man's hand,
rising out of the sea!" So he said, "Go up, say to Ahab, 'Prepare your chariot, and go down before
the rain stops you.'"
45 Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there
was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel.
46 Then the hand of the LORD came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab
to the entrance of Jezreel.
NEVER ACCLIMATIZE TO THE LANGUAGE OF HOPELESSNESS
Ezekiel 12:21-23 (NKJV Strong's,)
21 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 22 “Son of man, what is this proverb that you
people have about the land of Israel, which says, ‘The days are prolonged, and every vision fails’?
23 Tell them therefore, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “I will lay this proverb to rest, and they shall no
more use it as a proverb in Israel.” But say to them, “The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of
every vision.
Ezekiel 12:21-23 (AMPC)
21 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
22 Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in the land of Israel, saying, The days drag on
and every vision comes to nothing and is not fulfilled?
23 Tell them therefore, Thus says the Lord God: I will put an end to this proverb, and they shall
use it no more as a proverb in Israel. But say to them, The days are at hand and the fulfillment
of every vision.
Ezekiel 12:28 (NKJV Strong's,)
28 Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “None of My words will be postponed any
more, but the word which I speak will be done,” says the Lord God.’ ”
Ezekiel 12:28 (NIV)
28 “Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be
delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”
• The language of hopelessness reacts to bad news, the language of hope creates the good news!
• The language of fear speculates on the worst scenario, the language of faith sees a destiny of
victory and success
Amos 9:13 (NKJV Strong's)
13 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,
“When the plowman shall overtake the reaper,
And the treader of grapes him who sows seed;
The mountains shall drip with sweet wine,
And all the hills shall flow with it.
Amos 9:13 (MSG)
13 "Yes indeed, it won't be long now." God's Decree.
"Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other.
You won't be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look,
blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.
Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV Strong's Bible)
18 “Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
WHEN THE WORLD TREATS YOU UNFAIRLY REMEMBER YOUR COVENANT WITH THE MOST
HIGH GOD
Genesis 30:42 - 31:8 (NKJV Strong's)
JACOB AND LABAN
42 But when the flocks were feeble, he did not put them in; so the feebler were Laban's and the
stronger Jacob's.
43 Thus the man became exceedingly prosperous, and had large flocks, female and male
servants, and camels and donkeys.
1 Now Jacob heard the words of Laban's sons, saying, “Jacob has taken away all that was our
father's, and from what was our father's he has acquired all this wealth.”
2 And Jacob saw the countenance of Laban, and indeed it was not favorable toward him as before.
3 Then the Lord said to Jacob, “Return to the land of your fathers and to your family, and I will be
with you.”
4 So Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah to the field, to his flock,
5 and said to them, “I see your father's countenance, that it is not favorable toward me as before;
but the God of my father has been with me.
6 And you know that with all my might I have served your father.
7 Yet your father has deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but God did not allow him to
hurt me.
8 If he said thus: ‘The speckled shall be your wages,’ then all the flocks bore speckled. And if he
said thus: ‘The streaked shall be your wages,’ then all the flocks bore streaked.
SEVEN STEPS TOWARDS VICTORY AND SUCCESS
Joshua 1:2-8 (NKJV Strong's Bible)
2 “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to
the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land
of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory.
5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will
be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.
6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land
which I swore to their fathers to give them.
7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which
Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you
may prosper wherever you go.
8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and
night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your
way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
