• God interrupted Moses’ normal routine and destiny through the burning bush
• He turned to look and realized it was not the same bush like the one that was burning the last
time
• Right now the bush is burning calling for our attention to hear what the Lord is saying
• God is saying I am ready for you to be used to deliver the lost before my coming
Exodus 3:1-8 (NLT)
Moses and the Burning Bush
1 One day Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro, the priest of Midian. He led
the flock far into the wilderness and came to Sinai, the mountain of God. 2 There the angel of the
LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from the middle of a bush. Moses stared in amazement.
Though the bush was engulfed in flames, it didn’t burn up. 3 “This is amazing,” Moses said to
himself. “Why isn’t that bush burning up? I must go see it.”
4 When the LORD saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God called to him from the middle of
the bush, “Moses! Moses!”
“Here I am!” Moses replied.
5 “Do not come any closer,” the LORD warned. “Take off your sandals, for you are standing on
holy ground. 6 I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of
Jacob.” When Moses heard this, he covered his face because he was afraid to look at God.
7 Then the LORD told him, “I have certainly seen the oppression of my people in Egypt. I have
heard their cries of distress because of their harsh slave drivers. Yes, I am aware of their
suffering.
8 So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and lead them out of
Egypt into their own fertile and spacious land. It is a land flowing with milk and honey—the land
where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.

INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT AFTER THE RED SEE EXPERIENCE, MOSES’S WALK OF FAITH WAS
INTERRUPTED BY THE CONTINUED UNBELIEF OF HIS OWN PEOPLE!
Hebrews 11:27-29 (NLT)
27 It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on
going because he kept his eyes on the one who is invisible.
28 It was by faith that Moses commanded the people of Israel to keep the Passover and to
sprinkle blood on the doorposts so that the angel of death would not kill their firstborn sons.
29 It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on
dry ground. But when the Egyptians tried to follow, they were all drowned.
Haggai 2:4-5 (NKJV Strong's)
4 Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,' says the LORD; 'and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the
high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,' says the LORD, 'and work; for I am with you,'
says the LORD of hosts.
5 'According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit
remains among you; do not fear!'

Walk in Wisdom
15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:15-17 (NLT)
15 So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise.
16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.
17 Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.

Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:30-31 (MSG)
30 For even young people tire and drop out,
young folk in their prime stumble and fall.
31 But those who wait upon GOD get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don't get tired,
they walk and don't lag behind.

Deuteronomy 11:10-12 (NKJV Strong's)
10 For the land which you go to possess is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come,
where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden;
11 but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water
from the rain of heaven,
12 a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on
it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.

Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!
