Develop in you a greater awareness of being a Child of Promise now more than ever before &
declare it continually:
1. I live by promise
2. I am made wise by promise
3. I am healed by promise
4. I am protected by promise
5. I am provided by promise
6. I am rich by promise
7. I am successful by promise
8. I thrive by promise

10 For the land which you go to possess is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come,
where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden;
11 but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water
from the rain of heaven,
12 a land for which the Lord your God cares; the eyes of the Lord your God are always on it,
from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.

TAKE OPPORTUNITY FOR RENEWAL OF STRENGTH & FRESH IDEAS
Isaiah 40:30-31 (NKJV Strong's)
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

30 For even young people tire and drop out,
young folk in their prime stumble and fall.
31 But those who wait upon GOD get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don't get tired,
they walk and don't lag behind.

What do you do in a place you’ve never been before?
1. You observe & listen very closely
2. You follow instructions & obey
3. You stay together very closely
THE DRYING UP OF THE WATERS HAD A DUAL PURPOSE: FOR COVENANT PEOPLE TO
CROSSOVER & TO PLACE THEIR ENEMIES ON NOTICE!
Joshua 4:23-24 (NKJV)
23 for the LORD your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed
over, as the LORD your God did to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed
over,
24 that all the peoples of the earth may know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty, that you
may fear the LORD your God forever."
THE WILDERNESS PROVISION STOPS WHEN YOU START TO FEED FROM THE LAND OF
PROMISE - living by promise is far greater than living from hand to mouth!
Joshua 5:12 (NKJV)
12 Then the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce of the land; and the
children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Canaan that year.
YOUR VICTORY COMES WHEN HE TAKES OVER THE BATTLE
Joshua 5:13-15 (NKJV)
The Commander of the Army of the LORD
13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and
behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and
said to Him, "Are You for us or for our adversaries?"
14 So He said, "No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come."
And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, "What does my Lord say
to His servant?"
15 Then the Commander of the LORD's army said to Joshua, "Take your sandal off your foot, for
the place where you stand is holy." And Joshua did so.
WHAT YOU TO REMEMBER ABOUT CROSSING OVER TO THE PROMISE
1. When manna stops and the promise takes over!
2. It will have to be a miraculous transition - it can only be made possible by the mighty hand of
God.
3. Recognize that You’ve never been this way before!
4. It requires greater unity and understanding of purpose!
5. It requires sacrificing and greater commitment!
6. Obedience to Instructions and directions become the only way to success.
7. The commander of the Lord’s armies takes charge of the Lord’s armies!
8. All the walls of resistance will have to come down!
9. Only covenant people will find the grace to thrive amidst crisis!
