Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in
Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Acts 4:13-16 (NKJV)
13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and
untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.
14 And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
16 saying, "What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them
is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.
(2 Corinthians 5:17–18)
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are
become new. And all things are of God.
The things that have passed away are weakness, failure, and the dominion of sense knowledge. The new
things are the life of God,”
“the righteousness of God, the ability of God, and the love of God. All these have come and taken the place
of weakness and failure in us.”
THE ENABLING POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
“In the King James Version of the Bible,
Philippians 4:11 says, “I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.” A more literal
translation, however, would read, “I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therein to be independent of
circumstances.” That makes man a victor.”
Philippians 4:13 (NKJV Strong's)
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Ephesians 1:19-21 (NKJV Strong's)
19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His
mighty power
20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the
heavenly places,
21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in
this age but also in that which is to come.

THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ON JESUS
Luke 4:14-18 (NKJV Strong's Bible)
14 Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the
surrounding region.
15 And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.
16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the
synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.
17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the
place where it was written:
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the
blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
Matthew 7:28-29 (NKJV Strong's Bible)
28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,
29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
THE ANOINTING DESTROYS EVERY YOKE OF BONDAGE
Isaiah 10:27 (NKJV)
27 It shall come to pass in that day
That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder,
And his yoke from your neck,
And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.
Acts 10:38 (NKJV Strong's Bible)
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good
and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Artisans for Building the Tabernacle
1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
3 And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner
of workmanship,
4 to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze,
5 in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship.
6 “And I, indeed I, have appointed with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have
put wisdom in the hearts of all the gifted artisans, that they may make all that I have commanded you:
Acts 6:1-4 (NKJV Strong's Bible)
Seven Chosen to Serve
1 Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the
Hebrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution.
2 Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should
leave the word of God and serve tables.
3 Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and
wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business;
4 but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

Zechariah 4:6-10 (NKJV Strong's Bible)
6 So he answered and said to me:
“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts.
7 ‘Who are you, O great mountain?
Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!
And he shall bring forth the capstone
With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!” ’ ”
8 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
9 “The hands of Zerubbabel Have laid the foundation of this temple;
His hands shall also finish it.Then you will know That the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.
10 For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see The
plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord, Which scan to
and fro throughout the whole earth.”
