Hebrews 8:6 (NKJV Strong's)
6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better
covenant, which was established on better promises.
YOU NEED TO HAVE AN INTERNAL WITNESS BEFORE YOU CAN BECOME AN EXTERNAL WITNESS
THE HOLY SPIRIT OUR PERSONAL WITNESS
Romans 8:14-17 (NKJV Strong's)
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by
whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we
may also be glorified together.
DECLARE:
• I did not receive a spirit of bondage to fear anything or anyone
• I have a witness of the Holy Spirit that I am a child of the Most High God
• I am a child of Promise
• I have full access to my Father’s inheritance through Christ Jesus
• All that Jesus has is also mine, I have full access and benefit from all that He accomplished! E.g. “by His
stripes we were healed”; “for our sakes He became poor so that we can be rich”.
THE POWER THAT MAKES YOU A WITNESS
Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses
to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
THE POWER OF A COVENANT WITNESS
THE PROMISE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT FULFILLED
Acts 2:1-3 (NKJV Strong's)
Coming of the Holy Spirit
1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house
where they were sitting.
3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
Jesus said the Holy Spirit would “testify” of Him, not make us fear-filled cowards! That word translated
“testify” comes from the Greek word martureo, which means to witness or to give a good report. It’s where
we get the word martyr, referring to someone who obtains a righteous testimony as a result of his
willingness to accept suffering or death rather than renounce his faith in Jesus. That kind of courage
comes only from the supernatural ability of the Holy Spirit, empowering the believer to testify of Jesus,
regardless of any pressure or opposition, no matter how severe - Rick Renner
Isaiah 60:1-5 (NKJV)
1 Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the LORD will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
3 The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
4 "Lift up your eyes all around, and see:
They all gather together, they come to you;
Your sons shall come from afar,
And your daughters shall be nursed at your side.
5 Then you shall see and become radiant,
And your heart shall swell with joy;
Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.
YOU ARE NOT JUST AN EYE WITNESS YOU ARE MUCH MORE A FAITH WITNESS - WE PROVIDE EVIDENCE
OF THE ACTS/WORKS OF FAITH
WHEN YOU ARE FACED WITH ANY SITUATION THAT SEEKS TO UNDERMINE YOU, ITS TIME FOR YOU TO
GIVE A WITNESS OF WHO YOU ARE AND THE GOD YOU SERVE
David was first undermined by his own father when he did not include him on the shortlist for the next in
line to be King of Israel - A WITNESS OF GOD’S PROMOTION AND ELEVATION
Also when he was at the scene of the face off between Israel and the giant Goliath - undermined by his own
brothers.
It was only when he gave witness of his past covenant and God empowered victories that Saul allowed him
to face Goliath - A WITNESS OF GOD’S SUPERNATURAL POWER TO DEFEAT ANY GIANT WE FACE IN LIFE
Joseph was also undermined until he became a witness of God’s anointing and gifting to King Pharaoh and
also became a witness of God’s faithfulness, promotion and salvation to his entire family!
Joshua was feeling unfit after taking over from a great man like Moses until God had to prove that He was
also with him through the crossing of the river Jordan.
Joshua 3:7 (NKJV)
7 And the LORD said to Joshua, "This day I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may
know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.
We are witnesses of how Jesus destroyed satan and all his forces and dispossessed them of all power!
TYPES OF WITNESSES
Revelation 5:12 (NKJV)
12 saying with a loud voice:
"Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!"
1. POWER - the working of His mighty power in us...same Power by which God raised Jesus from the dead is
in us! (Eph 1:19-22) (Acts 1:8)
2. RICHES - wealth and riches in my house (Psalm 112:3)...for our sake became poor so that we can be made
rich (2 Corinth 8:9)...power to get wealth (Deut 18:18)...lender not a borrower (Deut 28:12-13)!
3. WISDOM - is the principal thing...in all your getting get understanding (Prov 4:7)...Christ our wisdom (1
Corinth 1:30)
4. STRENGTH - strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Eph 6:10)
5. HONOR - Instead of shame you shall have double honor (Isaiah 61:7). Your Reproach is removed!
6. GLORY - God's manifest presence (goodness, mercy, power, love, favor).I”I will cause my goodness to
pass before you” (Exodus 33:18-19).
7. BLESSING - the blessing that makes rich and adds no sorrow (Prov 10:22). The blessing is God’s
empowerment to prosper! You’re empowered to prosper!
ITS TIME TO BELIEVE GOD FOR MIRACLES THAT ARE NOTABLE, EVIDENT & UNDENIABLE
Acts 4:13-16 (NKJV)
13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and
untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.
14 And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.
15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
16 saying, "What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them
is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.
DECLARE: I BELIEVE I RECEIVE A BREAKTHROUGH OR AN OPEN DOOR THAT IS NOTABLE, EVIDENT AND
UNDENIABLE...
